A Delayed Christmas Reaction
Christmas is a funny thing. Each year, it seems to be less and less of a big deal in my house. My husband doesn’t seem to care one way or the other and I often end up working. This year, I had the added stress of my grandfather being ill and family issues to cope with and it just seems to have gotten away from me. We didn’t decorate, we didn’t really wrap presents and to make matters worse, I suffered an intense migraine that required treatment at Urgent Care two weeks before Christmas and had me bed ridden. Then I developed a cold that turned into bronchitis and was in bed for another week, right up until Christmas Eve. Not really a great way to get into the Christmas Spirit.
